As soon as students begin their journey through the business management undergraduate program at Utica College, they partake in simulations, utilizing the latest technology to enhance their understanding of trends in local, national and global markets via cutting-edge technology.
Our risk management students interact with the vibrant and growing insurance community, attending corporate functions and presentations while also filling their internship pipeline. The program hosts a number of events where students network with alumni and the greater community.
The investment club, which is run by students with oversight from our finance faculty, manages a portfolio worth more than $150,000. This hands-on experience has been a staple and a must-join for all finance majors, who apply real-world approaches to wealth management and analysis.
Students will graduate from Utica College with a diploma and a business if they minor in entrepreneurship, pitching investors for capital while working collaboratively with incubators, which are essential to upstate New York. They are expected to participate in regional, state and national business plan competitions.
