Assistant Professor of Marketing and Strategy
Chris Tingley, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Strategy, received his DBA from Walden University in 2015, his MBA from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2006, and BA in Communication Arts from Gannon University in 2004. Chris has a background in broadcasting, and has previously taught marketing at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate level. His dissertation was titled “Social Media Marketing to Engage Generation Y Consumers”, and his research focus is in consumer behavior and the use of simulations in marketing education. Prior to accepting a position at UC, Chris was most recently the Director of Graduate Business and Executive Education at the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business. Chris is an avid music fan and spends his time painting fantasy miniatures.
